Job Title: Program Director – Detox Center
Location: Northridge, CA
Compensation: $35–$45 per hour (depending on experience)

Position Summary

The Program Director will oversee the day-to-day operations of our detox program, ensuring clinical and operational excellence. This role requires a hands-on leader who is passionate about recovery, compliance, and team development. The ideal candidate brings at least 2 years of senior-level leadership experience in behavioral health or substance use treatment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, supervise, and support clinical and administrative staff

  • Ensure compliance with all licensing, regulatory, and accreditation requirements (e.g., DHCS, Joint Commission, CARF)

  • Oversee the development, implementation, and evaluation of treatment programming

  • Collaborate with medical, clinical, and operational teams to ensure high-quality client care

  • Participate in hiring, training, and performance management of staff

  • Conduct regular audits of documentation and client records

  • Facilitate team meetings and case conferences

  • Address and resolve client or staff concerns promptly and professionally

  • Work with senior leadership to monitor and improve key performance indicators (KPIs)

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years in a senior leadership or program management role within a behavioral health or substance use treatment setting

  • Strong knowledge of detox protocols, clinical workflows, and regulatory requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred (e.g., in psychology, social work, public health, or related field)

  • Valid certification or license (CADC, LMFT, LCSW, AMFT, etc) preferred but not required

  • Proven ability to lead teams, manage operations, and maintain compliance

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
