Long term renewable contract. On site- Warren.

- Develop/Validate diagnostic service procedures
- Support field requests
- Maintain ownership of older documents on previously authored programs
- Collaborate cross functionally with up/down stream organization
- Visit other Michigan based work site's for validation or other on vehicle testing/observation will be required as needed
- Required to meet KPI expectations as provided to the rest of the team

Core hours of 9am-3pm with 40 hours per week required.

The main function of a service engineer is to represent advance serviceability of design within the Vehicle Development Process. A typical service engineer is responsible for identifying addressing or escalating serviceability issues as appropriate utilizing business case analysis.

• Develop and communicate service requirements.
• Develop diagnostic and repair procedures.
• Attend Product Development Team PDT Meetings Design for Manufacturing DFMs and Peer reviews for assigned service subsections.
• Develop service part release strategies with Service parts Engineering/Design Release Engineers/Suppliers with Subsystem Service Plans SSSP.
• Investigate and respond to Problem Tracking Reports PTRs suggested service manual changes.
• Investigate and respond to Quality Audit Reports suggested service manual changes.  Review Engineering Work Orders EWOs for service impact and follow up as required.  
• Identify when special tools are required to perform a vehicle repair

Bachelor degree
