Job Details

Description of Duties:

• Managing a construction crew to meet scheduling goals and client expectations.
• Ensuring projects are built according to approved plans, specifications, shop drawings, and applicable building codes while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Providing clear directions to Crew Members and Subcontractors to ensure project targets are achieved.
• Attending and providing input at Project Meetings with the Project Manager and Site Superintendent, proactively identifying solutions to support the project.
• Lead the onsite crew to identify and manage opportunities and risks to achieve the best possible results for Scope, Quality, and Schedule Targets.
• Managing transportation, storage and protection of materials.
• Supporting the construction crew through professional development and Team Meetings.
• Ensuring all Crew Members and Subcontractors communicate with clients professionally and appropriately.
• Supporting and maintaining healthy, happy work environments and corporate culture. Maintaining a clean, organized and professional presentation of work sites.

Skills Required:

• Proven Ability to produce high quality carpentry with examples of your work
• Clear understanding of building codes and production methods, material.

Skills Preferred:

• Three years experience managing team members on a construction site.
• Experience with sunroom and deck construction, techniques

Physical Requirements:

• Climbing, standing, sitting, walking, reaching, bending, balancing, squatting and kneeling for prolonged periods at a time.
• Ability to lift/push/pull up to and not limited to 100lbs.

Working Conditions:

• Work takes place primarily on-site, mostly in outdoor environments May sometimes involve heights, exposure to hot or cold weather, loud noises, dust and fumes.
• Must wear the proper PPE (Personnel Protective Equipment)

Schedule:

• Flexible schedule
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
