Schedule: 8 hour shift Monday-Friday 7 am- 3:30 pm

Summary: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Fiber Laser Machine Operator that also has experience with bending equipment to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be a skilled machinist with hands on experience, and a background in metal fabrication and will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC fiber laser cutting machines; as well as the setup and operation of Trumpf press break benders. You will play a key role in ensuring the accurate and efficient production of components according to specifications.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Interpret and work from engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
• Select appropriate tooling and adjust machine parameters to achieve desired tolerances.
• Inspect finished parts to ensure conformance with specifications using precision measuring tools.
• Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on machines.
• Maintain clean and organized workstations in accordance with safety standards.
• Collaborate with the quality assurance team to address any discrepancies or defects.

·         Assist in process improvements and support training of junior machinists when needed

·         Maintain accurate records of production activities, machine settings, and maintenance tasks.

·         Perform preventative maintenance on machines

·         Meet predetermined output requirements

·         May perform a variety of other tasks as production needs require

Physical Requirements

·         Must be able to handle moving components weighing up to 50 lbs.

Education & experience:

• Manufacturing environment for a minimum of 2 years
• Fiber Laser Operator experience minimum 1 year
• Press Brake Experience minimum 1 year
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, CAD drawings, and job travelers.
• Strong knowledge of sheet metal materials and forming techniques.
