Position: Senior Field Supervisor

Job Summary
ATS is seeking an experienced Senior Field Supervisor to oversee the installation, integration, and maintenance of public safety and cellular DAS projects. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to manage field operations across multiple project sites nationally. The Senior Field Supervisor will ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while maintaining compliance with safety and industry regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise field crews in the installation, testing, and commissioning of public safety and cellular DAS systems.
- Coordinate project schedules, resources, and logistics to meet client requirements and deadlines.
- Conduct site surveys, assess project requirements, and develop detailed work plans.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., NFPA, FCC, UL) and ATS quality protocols.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate field technicians to maintain high performance and safety standards.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide solutions to ensure system functionality.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure seamless project execution.
- Prepare and submit detailed reports on project progress, including timelines, budgets, and challenges.
- Maintain a safe work environment, enforcing OSHA and company safety policies.
- Travel nationally to oversee multiple project sites as required (up to 75% travel).
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in DAS integration, wireless communications, or related field, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of public safety and cellular DAS systems, including RF principles and equipment (e.g., ADRF, Westell, Comba, Nokia, Nextivity, etc).
- Familiarity with industry standards such as NFPA 72, NFPA 1221, and FCC regulations.
- Proven leadership skills with experience managing field crews and coordinating multi-site projects.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities in high-pressure environments.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel nationally.
- OSHA 30 certification preferred; ability to obtain certification within 90 days of hire.
- Strong communication skills for interfacing with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
- Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Fieldwire) and field testing software (e.g., PCTEL, Anritsu) and.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various environments (e.g., rooftops, confined spaces).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications such as BICSI, ETA, or manufacturer-specific DAS training (e.g., ADRF, Westell, Comba, Nokia, Nextivity, etc).
- Experience with public safety systems (e.g., ERRCS, FirstNet) and cellular DAS deployments.
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in telecommunications, electrical engineering, or related field.
