Signcrafters, Inc. is a leading wholesale sign manufacturer based in St. Louis, Missouri. We specialize in high-quality, custom signage solutions and are known for our attention to detail and craftsmanship. We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Sign Painter to join our growing team.

Position Summary:

The Sign Painter will be responsible for painting primarily aluminum signage using the Matthews Paint System. The ideal candidate will have a background in sign, automotive, or aircraft painting, and possess strong attention to detail, precision, and pride in their work. This is a full-time position in a fast-paced, team-oriented production environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare aluminum sign surfaces through cleaning, sanding, priming, and masking.

• Mix and apply Matthews Paint System products using HVLP or similar spray equipment.

• Ensure accurate color matching and a high-quality finish to meet customer specifications.

• Inspect finished signs for quality and consistency.

• Maintain paint booth cleanliness and perform routine maintenance on painting equipment.

• Follow safety protocols and proper handling of paints, solvents, and materials.

• Collaborate with the fabrication team to meet project deadlines and standards.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of painting experience in sign, automotive, or aircraft industries.

• Proficiency in HVLP spray equipment and paint mixing techniques.

• Familiarity with Matthews Paint System is strongly preferred.

• Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality work.

• Ability to read and interpret design specifications and production instructions.

• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

• Physically able to lift, carry, and move sign components as needed.
