firstPro is seeking an experienced AR specialist to join a stable and growing team in the Norcross, GA area. There are 2 roles available one focusing on credit and collections and one that is more researched focused. Please apply if you have a background in either or both. Thanks! 

Responsibilities:

• Manage and execute collections activities for a designated portfolio of customer accounts, including proactive outreach via phone, email, and mail to ensure timely payments.

• Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies, billing issues, and customer disputes in a professional and efficient manner.

• Process and apply customer payments accurately and reconcile accounts.

• Conduct credit evaluations for new and existing customers, analyzing financial statements, credit reports, and trade references to assess credit risk and establish appropriate credit limits.

• Monitor customer credit limits and payment trends, identifying potential risks and recommending adjustments as needed.

• Collaborate closely with sales, customer service, and other internal departments to resolve customer issues and facilitate collections.

• Prepare and analyze accounts receivable aging reports, identifying delinquent accounts and developing strategies for collection.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records, including contact information, payment terms, and communication logs.

• Assist with month-end close activities, including reconciliations and reporting related to accounts receivable.
