Job Summary:
A growing metal distribution company in Elizabeth, NJ is seeking a motivated Inside Sales Representative to join their team. This role involves working directly with customers to provide quotes, process orders, and offer product solutions. Candidates should have strong communication skills, a customer-first mindset, and a drive to meet sales goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond to inbound customer inquiries via phone, email, and in-person

• Provide accurate quotes and product recommendations based on customer needs

• Process sales orders and coordinate with operations for timely fulfillment

• Build and maintain strong customer relationships through follow-ups and service excellence

• Proactively reach out to new and existing customers to promote products and services

• Meet or exceed individual and team sales goals

• Maintain accurate records in the sales system and assist with inventory checks when needed

Qualifications:

• 1+ year of inside sales, retail sales, or customer service experience

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Basic math and computer skills; experience with POS or CRM systems a plus

• Prior experience in a distribution, industrial, or metal-related business is a plus but not required

• Self-motivated, organized, and results-driven

Part-Teim, Monday–Friday 9:00 - 3:00 PM
