Job Summary:

We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Asphalt Sealcoat Laborer to join our pavement maintenance crew. The ideal candidate will assist in the preparation, application, and cleanup of asphalt sealcoating projects. This role involves physical labor, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare asphalt surfaces for sealcoating (e.g., cleaning, crack filling, edging)

• Apply sealcoat material using spray systems, squeegees, or brushes

• Maintain and operate equipment, tools, and vehicles in a safe and effective manner

• Assist with traffic control and job site safety setup

• Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment

• Clean up job site upon completion of work

• Follow all company and OSHA safety protocols

• Work in a team-oriented environment to meet project deadlines

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)

• Previous experience in asphalt or construction labor (preferred but not required)

• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods and in varying weather conditions

• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license

• Ability to follow directions and work independently or as part of a crew

• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
