Key Responsibilities:

• Cleaning and Maintenance:
  • Perform general cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting.
  • Clean windows, restrooms, and other areas, ensuring a hygienic environment.
• Repairs and Troubleshooting:
  • Conduct minor repairs on equipment and building systems (e.g., plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry).
  • Respond to maintenance requests and fix or report problems promptly.
• Safety and Compliance:
  • Ensure the facility complies with health and safety regulations.
  • Perform regular inspections to identify safety hazards and report them to management.
• Waste Management:
  • Manage and dispose of waste and recyclables.
  • Ensure trash bins are emptied regularly, and waste areas are maintained.
• Stocking and Inventory:
  • Order and maintain cleaning supplies and equipment.
  • Ensure that supplies are stocked and readily available for use.
• Security:
  • Lock and secure the building at the end of the shift.
  • Assist in monitoring the facility to prevent theft or unauthorized access.

Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Previous experience in facility maintenance, custodial work, carpentry, or a similar role preferred.
• Vehicle and Drivers License: Need to have a valid driver license and vehicle
• Skills
  • Basic knowledge of maintenance and repair techniques.
  • Ability to operate machinery and power tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
• Regularly required to bend, kneel, stand, and walk for long periods of time.
• Ability to work in different weather conditions when tasks require it (e.g., snow removal)
• 40 hours per week
• Nights and weekends as needed
