Currently seeking a Site Supervisor for a high-end residential general contractor based in and doing work mainly in Manhattan. The ideal candidate will possess 3 + years of NYC site supervisor experience and preferably have a few of those years in NYC luxury residential experience.

Responsibilities of the Site Supervisor - High End Residential Construction:

• Responsible for overseeing work of all trades (site work, carpentry, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, steel, etc.)
• Effectively manage on-site activities from demolition through to final punch list.
• Manages staff and subcontractors by evaluating, monitoring and controlling performance.
• Works with Project Manager to meet construction budget by monitoring project expenditures; identifying variances; implementing corrective actions.
• Accomplishes construction project results by managing project purpose and scope; calculating resources required; establishing standards and protocols; allocating resources; scheduling and coordinating staff and subcontractors; evaluating milestone assumptions and conclusions; resolving design problems; evaluating and implementing change orders.
• Prevents fines and interruptions by complying with, and enforcing codes.
• Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations

Requirements of the Site Supervisor - High End Residential Construction:

• Minimum 3 years of NYC site supervisor luxury residential experience preferred
• Must possess the knowledge and experience to direct construction-related personnel and interact with clients while successfully planning, coordinating and safely executing the work in accordance with the contract documents, schedule and budget.
