Job Description

A well-established metals distribution company located in Garland, TX is seeking a skilled and safety-focused CDL Class A Flatbed Driver to join their transportation team. The ideal candidate will have experience hauling metal products or flatbed freight and a strong commitment to timely deliveries and customer satisfaction. You will report daily to the Garland shop and run a mix of day trips and 2-day overnights. Most of your time will be behind the wheel, with some warehouse loading using a forklift. Customers will handle unloading. Must be ready to start immediately – fast track hiring process.

Requirements:

Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record.

Flatbed driving experience, including strapping and tarping.

Comfortable operating a sit-down forklift.

Experience with flatbed trailers and securing loads

Able to lift, tarp, and work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Knowledge of DOT regulations, HOS, and ELD systems.

Schedule:

1st shift, 5am-6pm

50+ hours

Daily overtime

Pay:

$21/hr. Regular

$31.50/hr. Overtime
