Looking for an experienced picker and loader to join our Palo Alto Direct family.

The Warehouse Picker is responsible for accurately selecting and preparing products for shipment according to customer orders. This role plays a key part in ensuring on-time, accurate deliveries and maintaining efficient warehouse operations.

Qualifications:

• Accurately pick orders based on pick sheets

• Work in dry, refrigerated (cooler), and frozen environments

• Handle cases of produce, meat, dairy, dry goods, and beverages

• Safely stack, wrap, and label pallets for delivery

• Verify product codes, lot numbers, and expiration dates to ensure food safety compliance

• Report damaged, expired, or incorrect items to supervisors

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas

• Meet established performance standards (cases per hour, accuracy, etc.)

• Follow all warehouse safety protocols, including use of PPE

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• Warehouse experience in food distribution or logistics strongly preferred

• Ability to work in cold and freezer environments (down to -10°ree;F)

• Ability to lift, push, pull up to 50 lbs repeatedly

• Comfortable operating pallet jacks or other warehouse equipment (training provided)

• Knowledge of FIFO, food safety standards, and HACCP practices a plus

• Reliable attendance and punctuality

Schedule:

Monday-Friday 4:00 PM - 12:30 AM or Sunday -Thursday 4:00 PM - 12:30 AM
