Position Title: Landscape Foreman

Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Landscape Foreman to join our team. The Landscape Foreman will play a crucial role in leading our landscaping crew, ensuring the successful execution of landscape projects while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety. This position requires a strong work ethic, excellent leadership skills, the ability to fill any position, and a passion for creating and maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces. The Landscape Foreman must have prior experience with most, if not all, positions and the ability to do all tasks thoroughly while maintaining efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Leadership: Lead crew members and oversee landscape projects from start to finish, ensuring that work is completed on time, while maintaining our high-quality standard. Provide guidance and support to crew members to ensure efficient project execution.
• Team Management: Supervise and motivate a team of landscape crewmen. Assign tasks, provide minimal training, and conduct routine performance evaluations to ensure a skilled and productive workforce.
• Quality Assurance: Maintain the highest standards of workmanship and quality in all landscaping tasks, no matter the size. Make sure to complete jobs as if they were your yard, no shortcuts, but quality all the way through.
• Safety Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and regulations on job sites. Enforce safety guidelines and identify and mitigate potential hazards.
• Equipment Maintenance: Oversee the proper use of all equipment and control improper use of equipment.
• Client & Crew Communication: Communicate effectively with clients, if needed, and the crewmen so that there is a coherent understanding of all landscaping needs, address concerns, and provide updates on project progress while ensuring the crew’s clarity and the client’s satisfaction throughout the project.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Landscape Foreman or similar role in the landscaping industry.
• Strong knowledge of landscaping techniques, materials, and equipment.
• Leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and mentor fellow crew members.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client interactions and team coordination.
• Ability to read and interpret landscape plans.
• Proficiency in operating landscaping equipment.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Education and Certifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's degree in Landscape Management or related field is a plus).
• Prior experience in the field or related fields 

Work Environment:

The Landscape Foreman will primarily work outdoors in various weather conditions. Physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy objects, bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods are required.
