Job Title: Stock Room Clerk 

Department: Inventory Control / Manufacturing
Reports To: Stock Room / Inventory Manager
Location: Pomona CA
Schedule: Monday-Friday

Position Summary:

The Stock Room Clerk is responsible for compiling and maintaining accurate inventory records, including the quantity and type of materials, equipment, and supplies stocked within the organization. This role involves tracking inventory movement, reconciling discrepancies between records and physical counts, preparing inventory reports, and issuing or stocking materials as required. The clerk plays a key role in supporting the smooth flow of materials across departments in a manufacturing environment.

Essential Job Duties:

• Maintain inventory of both manufactured and purchased parts using the Made2Manage (M2M) system.

• Receive and issue parts accurately; report any discrepancies to the supervisor.

• Process pick lists for job orders: pull, order, and route parts to designated departments.

• Record inventory transactions and updates in the M2M system.

• Generate reports from M2M including inventory movement and material availability.

• Order shop supplies and manage inventory levels of commonly used materials.

Other Duties:

• Process daily cycle count reports to support accounting updates.

• Assist the Customer Service Expeditor as needed.

• Provide back-up support for the Shipping & Receiving department.

• Serve as a back-up driver when required.

• Perform additional related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Minimum of two (2) years of inventory or shipping/receiving experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel; knowledge of M2M software is a plus.

• Strong basic math skills, including ability to work with fractions and decimals.

• Ability to read and use a tape measure is required; caliper use is preferred.

• Forklift and pallet jack operation required—must follow all safety protocols.

• Valid California driver’s license and an acceptable driving record required.

• Must be available for Saturday work rotations.
