Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Portfolio Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will conduct in-depth economic, market, and investment research to tailor portfolios that align with each client's unique financial goals and cash flow needs. The ideal candidate is proficient in market analysis, has exceptional communication and presentation skills, and possesses a solid grasp of diverse investment options and portfolio management strategies.
Requirements and Responsibilities of Portfolio Manager
· Build, manage, and evaluate investment portfolios to ensure optimal performance.
· Conduct investment research and analysis, preparing reports on findings and activity.
· Develop and present tailored investment strategies to clients.
· Communicate with clients regarding market conditions, portfolio performance, and available opportunities.
· Oversee the integration of sub-managers, ETFs, and private debt within portfolios.
· Keep updated on market trends and industry insights through continuous learning.
· Network actively to create a strong client base and educate stakeholders through presentations.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field (preferred)
· Proven experience as an Investment Portfolio Manager or in a similar role.
· Strong understanding of financial markets, risk management, and investment strategies.
· Exceptional ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly and concisely.
· Effective communication and presentation skills.
· Professional certifications: Series 65 license and CFA designation.
About the Role
As a Portfolio Manager, you will design and manage tailored investment allocations for individuals, families, and select institutional clients. Collaborating with a team, you will identify strategies that align with clients' risk profiles, financial goals, and market conditions. You'll oversee security transactions, rebalance portfolios, and assess investment packages to ensure alignment with client objectives.
Keeping clients informed is a cornerstone of this role. You’ll stay in regular contact to share market updates, research insights, and economic trends while ensuring alignment with their evolving goals. A keen understanding of global and domestic market developments is essential.
As part of our fiduciary duty, you will meet clients annually to reassess strategies, ensuring all investments align with their requests. Maintaining compliance with regulatory standards will also be a critical component of this role.
