We are currently seeking an experienced HVAC Commercial Service Technician to join our service team. This position is responsible for servicing, diagnosing, and repairing commercial HVAC systems in a variety of facilities including offices, retail spaces, industrial buildings, and more. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical foundation, be customer-focused, and ensure all work meets safety and compliance standards.

Job Duties:

• Must be able to work individually while maintaining exceptional customer service
• Efficient trouble-shooting and problem-solving of all common mechanical systems up to 50 tons
• Able to follow all Russell’s safety guidelines and customer requirements
• Perform preventive maintenance on heating and cooling systems
• Perform related work as assigned
• Assist our install teams as needed
• Build strong customer relationships and build knowledge and understanding of new and existing customer needs/expectations
• Maintain understanding of company repair policies and pricing
• Ability to discuss repair options with clients and present estimates
• Ability to learn and utilize all company software applications

Requirements:

• 2+ years' experience
• Valid Driver's License and clean DMV record
• Excellent technical and communication skills
• Friendly, personable, and responsible team player
• Possess own basic hand tools
• Knowledge of the theory, methods, practices, tools, and equipment of the trade
• Knowledge of the operating principles and characteristics of the various types of refrigeration and air conditioning systems
• Knowledge of basic electricity and control systems
• Ability to apply the theory, technique, principles, and processes of the HVAC mechanic's trade
• Ability to read, understand, and work from schematics
• Universal EPA certified
• OSHA Certification (preferred)
• Be able to bend, stoop, reach, stand, lift and move 50 to 100 lbs. regularly throughout the day

• All candidates are subject to pre-employment drug screenings and background checks.
• All applicants shall, unless otherwise described in the job requirements, possess a valid driver's license and shall demonstrate safe driving practice by submitting a recent DMV Safe Driving Record.
