Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Safely operate a stand-up forklift to move, locate, stack, and count materials.
Load and unload trailers, moving materials to and from storage areas, loading docks, and delivery vehicles.
Transport products or materials to designated locations in the facility.
Prepare and complete orders for shipment according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, and ship).
Verify the accuracy of shipment orders and documentation.
Proficient in SAP
Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure quality and accuracy.
Collaborate with the shipping team to meet deadlines and maintain productivity standards.
Assist with inventory control, including conducting regular cycle counts and reconciling discrepancies.
Ensure accurate placement and tracking of inventory within the warehouse.
Follow all safety procedures and guidelines while operating equipment and handling materials.
Perform routine maintenance checks on forklifts and report any issues to the supervisor.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring a safe working environment.
Complete necessary shipping and receiving documentation accurately and timely.
Report any damages, shortages, or other discrepancies to the appropriate personnel.

Qualifications:
•High school diploma or equivalent.
•Valid forklift certification, with experience operating stand-up forklifts.
•Proven experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations.
•Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
•Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
•Good communication skills.
•Basic math and computer skills.
•Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime as needed.
