Shift: 6am start

Job Description:

Our client is a well-established manufacturer near O’Hare Airport seeking a dependable and customer-focused Local Delivery Driver to join their team. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work locally, with no overnight or over-the-road (OTR) travel required. The ideal candidate will deliver goods to our customers in a 24’ box truck, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries while providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a 24’ box truck for daily local deliveries

• Load and unload goods as required.

• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of products to customers.

• Interact professionally with customers, providing excellent service and maintaining positive relationships.

• Perform routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety and reliability.

• Follow assigned delivery routes and schedules efficiently.

• Maintain accurate delivery logs and related documentation.

• Uphold all traffic laws and company safety policies.

Requirements:

• Valid State Driver’s License.

• Class C License with air brake endorsement (no CDL required).

• Clean driving record.

• Previous experience driving a 24’ box truck is preferred.

• Strong communication and customer service skills.

• Ability to lift and move heavy items with a pallet jack when necessary.

• Positive attitude and a commitment to punctuality and reliability.

Work Schedule:

• Start time between 6:00 AM and 6:30 AM, Monday through Friday.
