AppleTree Staffing is partnering up with one of our manufacturing clients located on the northeast side of Indianapolis to assist with filling their Electronic Calibration Technician position.

In this role, the Electronic Calibration Technician is responsible for carrying out measurements (tests and calibrations) as directed by management, under the appropriate procedures as they pertain to meter calibration.

Requirements and Skills

• Ability to calibrate new meters
• Ability to recalibrate and/or repair meters returned by customers.
• Ability to use Microsoft Word for the preparation of Certificates of Calibration and maintenance of calibration procedures.
• Ability to review and track Calibration Laboratory equipment certifications.
• Ability to send out Calibration Laboratory test equipment for certified calibration as required, track the
• progress of the calibration, and ensure compliance with published quality procedure requirements.
• Ability to perform random cross-checks of the Calibration Laboratory test equipment and calibrated
• customer equipment, and document the results in the quality system.
• Ability to write and edit calibration procedures with support from the Technical Manager.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate's degree or greater in a STEM-related field of study.
• Experience in electronics, ability to read schematics, metrology, and ability to solder.
• Desired 2 or more years of experience in electronics, metrology, or related field.
• Related work experience in magnetics or metrology is helpful.
