Why You'll Love This Role:

As the Cost Accounting Specialist, you’ll be the go-to expert for all things accounting within our Variety Division. You’ll collaborate with our Operations Team to provide crucial financial reporting, track costs, and ensure profitability across contracts, joint ventures, and our Mini Plant operations.

What You’ll Be Doing:

✔ Develop and analyze Profit & Loss statements for the Variety Division’s contracts, ventures, and mini plant operations.
✔ Provide cost analysis and reporting to identify efficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
✔ Work closely with growers, packers, and managers to ensure accurate revenue and expense tracking.
✔ Support inventory and pallet tag tracking, working alongside warehouse and sales teams.
✔ Assist with contract and venture accounting, ensuring all financial details are in place.
✔ Prepare monthly account reconciliations and maintain accurate data within our financial systems.

What We’re Looking For:

✅ Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent experience, with an emphasis on cost accounting.
✅ Strong analytical and financial forecasting skills.
✅ Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and communication skills.
✅ Proficiency in Excel (bonus points for Microsoft BI & AI experience).
✅ Experience in agriculture or farming? That’s a plus!
✅ Ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment.

Pay: $63,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
