Job Details

Local Fire Protection company is looking for a strong motivate shop/delivery person. Applicants must be reliable, able to follow through asked tasks, willing to learn, able to read, know basic math skills, how to follow directions, lift heavy items up to 100 lb., use a GPS and have a great personality with a positive attitude. You must also have knowledge of how to operate equipment such as scissor lifts, telehandler & forklifts. Plumbing experience would be helpful for fitting knowledge but not necessary. Need basic knowledge of measurements and dimension sizes. 
This position includes driving a pickup truck with a trailer to deliver material and small equipment when needed on busy highways around the Michigan area.  
This position is full time and includes loading & unloading of heavy steel pipe at times. It also involves shop organization, delivery of submittals to building departments, driving small equipment, stocking material, pulling and delivering material to job sites in and around the Michigan area.  

Applicant must be at least 21 years of age with a good driving record. You must have reliable transportation to get to and from work (to shop) Only people with Commercial driver's License will be considered for this position.

Position starts at $18.00 per hour first 60 days 

Position has career advancement if you choose to do so in the future

Job hours vary but are basic 7-3:30 Monday- Friday with a half hour lunch break.
