Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and repair mechanical systems within an industrial or manufacturing environment. This position plays a key role in ensuring equipment uptime, production efficiency, and plant safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and emergency maintenance on machinery including conveyors, motors, pumps, gearboxes, compressors, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.

• Diagnose mechanical issues using schematics, blueprints, and diagnostic tools.

• Dismantle machines or equipment to access and remove defective parts; repair or replace parts as needed.

• Conduct inspections of equipment and systems to detect wear and potential failure.

• Execute preventive maintenance plans and maintain accurate maintenance records.

• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to support equipment improvements and minimize downtime.

• Follow all safety protocols, including lockout/tagout (LOTO), and participate in safety audits and corrective actions.

• Assist with installation of new machinery and support facility projects as needed.

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or associate degree in Industrial Maintenance or related field preferred.

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in industrial mechanical maintenance.

• Solid knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and fabrication tools.

• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, manuals, and schematics.

• Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

• Willingness to work various shifts, including weekends or overtime when required.

Preferred Skills:

• Basic electrical troubleshooting skills (e.g., motors, sensors, controls).

• Welding and machining/fabrication experience.

• Forklift or aerial lift certification.

• Experience working in high-speed production or heavy industrial environments.
