Job Title: Bookkeeper/Accountant (E-Commerce & Inventory Focus)
Location: South Florida (Hybrid - In-Office a Few Times/Month)
Job Type: Full-Time

We are a fast-growing e-commerce company seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeper/Accountant with a strong background in managing finances for physical product businesses. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of e-commerce accounting experience, with a deep understanding of inventory accounting, sales tax compliance, and expertise in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting operations in QBO
  Reconcile accounts, manage AP/AR, and maintain general ledger accuracy

• Track inventory and cost of goods sold (COGS) across multiple marketplaces and sales channels

• Handle monthly financial reporting and support quarterly/annual close

• Prepare and file multi-state sales tax returns

• Liaise with external CPA and internal stakeholders for reporting and planning

• Maintain accurate records and ensure financial compliance

• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis

• Ensure timely entry of all inventory transactions and reconciliations

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of bookkeeping/accounting experience in an e-commerce or physical product-based business
  Proficient in QuickBooks Online (QBO)

• Strong knowledge of inventory management and COGS accounting

• Experience with sales tax compliance and filings across multiple states

• Strong Excel skills; experience with inventory software is a plus
  Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

• Must be located in South Florida and available to work in the office several times per month
