Estimator / Fort Mill, SC

Salary: $17.50 - 20 per hour

35-40 hours per week

Responsibilities:

• Collect bidding information from emails
• Use Plan Swift to do take-offs from landscape plans - to measure sq.ft for soil, mulch, sod, etc.
• Use Excel to prepare bid information
• Send proposal to General Contractor(s) by due date, including any additional forms they require.
• Follow up on previous bids
• Update Sales Report
• Prepare submittals - product data for that job.
• Get hard copies of the plans for the Production Manager from Sharp
• Type any change orders requested by the project
• Assist the Production Manager with the project
• Visit Job Sites as needed
• Attend Tuesday staff meetings in the office and any field meetings with the General Contractor

Qualifications and Skills:

• Strong analytical abilities
• Working knowledge of Excel spreadsheets and word processing programs
• Understanding of construction documents
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Ability to coordinate and work independently
• Knowledge of CAD software

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in estimator field of interest
• 1 year of experience as an Estimator
