Position Summary:
Reports to—Sales Manager
Job Type—Salary plus commission, Exempt
We are seeking motivated and results-driven individuals to join our team of talented Sales Executives, with primary focus on janitorial and sanitation supply solutions. Equipped with over 50,000 items and multitudes of strategic solutions to serve the broad needs of the business community, the Sales Executive position is responsible for driving growth through new business development, account management, and customer relationship building within the commercial, industrial, healthcare, institutional and governmental sectors. Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and prospect new customers in assigned territory or industry sectors (e.g., schools, hospitals, commercial buildings).
- Manage and grow existing client accounts by offering tailored janitorial and sanitation supply solutions.
- Conduct on-site assessments to determine customer needs and recommend appropriate product solutions (e.g., paper products, chemicals, cleaning tools, dispensers).
- Prepare and present sales proposals, product demonstrations, and pricing quotes.
- Negotiate terms of sales agreements and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, pipeline, and forecasts using CRM tools.
- Stay up to date with product knowledge, industry trends, regulations and competitor offerings.
- Attend trade shows, vendor trainings, and networking events as needed.
- Initiate the sales process with prospecting, cold calling and networking
- Positively influence high-level decision makers, motivate them to close the deal
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of successful outside sales experience selling to medium and large companies
- College degree is preferred
- Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Dynamics) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills.
