Production Scheduler

Performance Expectations

The Production Scheduling main job functions are to monitor the progress and efficiency of the production staff. By monitoring the schedule, equipment, and staffing they can effectively communicate and facilitate the progress of orders and availability of products to all team members across the company.

   2. Participate and receive the required amount of monthly training per Team Member.  

Expectations for your Role

1. Operating rhythm.
   1. Resourcefully scheduling machines for efficiency.
   2. Demand planning for production/loading.
   3. Ensure production has correct paperwork.
   4. Ensure orders are on the correct tab of the order schedule.
   5. Research service defects (issues) and report to lead.

1. Safety.
   1. Wear all PPE required to perform daily tasks
   2. Follow all safety procedures, equipment manuals and all required safety measures for work in a warehouse environment.
   3. Quickly report accidents and injuries following all safety and emergency procedures. Note all the details surrounding these events and report to Assistant Manufacturing Team Lead.
   4. Report any tool / equipment issues to Assistant Manufacturing Team Lead.

1. Productivity.
   1. Monitor NetSuite for orders that are ready for production based on ship date.
   2. Check orders to ensure that production has raw goods (coil, fasteners) in stock.
   3. Coordinate out-of-stock products (back orders) for scheduling.

1. Print Production Ticket (Sales Orders) to correct manufacturing plant.
2. Work with OFT to schedule on-site standing seam and 5v production.
3. Schedule Rollformer through AMS Eclipse system for all Rollforming machines.
4. Work with production leads/leaders to plan capacity needs for the day.
5. Verifying the orders are on the correct tab in the order schedule.
6. Check that Work Orders were built upon completion.
7. Check that Sales Orders are completely fulfilled upon completion.
8. Schedule intercompany Transfer Orders.
9. Work with OFT to meet TCM Service Standards.
10. Fill in duties for Inventory department as needed.

1. Strong Computer skills include Microsoft Office, Excel, NetSuite, and ability to learn other programs, Dual screens and Group Email.
2. Must be able to lift 25 pounds unassisted.

1. Education/Experience.
   1. High school diploma or equivalent. 
   2. At least one year of production experience or position equivalent to the role.
