We provide alternative treatments, which are frequently effective in relieving symptoms of multiple sclerosis, autism, cancer, thyroid problems, and other conditions.

We are seeking a Compounding Pharmacy Technician to became a part of our team! You will assist in the preparation of medications under the direction of a pharmacist.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare medication and other healthcare products for patients
• Measure dosage of medications, according to prescription orders
• Process prescriptions using computer software
• Label and record dosage information
• Monitor storage and inventory of medications and supplies
• Maintain accurate patient records and profiles
• Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare professionals
• Answer phone calls and address inquiries from patients and healthcare providers
• Follow all relevant laws, regulations, and safety standards in the pharmacy

​Qualifications:

• Previous experience in pharmacy or other related fields
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Strong organizational skills
• High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of a pharmacy technician training program preferred
• Register as a Pharmacy Technician with the State Board of Pharmacy
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and familiarity with common prescription medications
• Proficiency in using pharmacy software systems for prescription processing and inventory management
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with precision in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to HIPAA guidelines
• Familiarity with non-sterile compounding is a plus

  We are a compounding only pharmacy specializing in meeting unique patient needs through customized prescription solutions. At MD Custom Rx you will use the skills you learned in your pharmacy technician program. You will be working in an accredited compounding pharmacy under the direct supervision of pharmacists.
