Restaurant Manager - Cattlemen’s Private Club

The basic functions of a Manager are not limited to: hiring, training, scheduling, floor operations, ordering, cash handling, reconciling and more. Also ensuring 100% guest satisfaction. The level of service must be consistent with established location specific standards in every respect described in the Service Handbook, Front Door Staff Handbook and the Employee Handbook.

The position also requires the employee to provide guests with accurate information regarding the restaurant and its operations. The essential hospitality standards must be used at all times: Enthusiastically recognize guests, 10/5 eye contact, smile, speak first, engage in polite conversation and use the guest’s last name. You must also have the ability to handle high business volumes and multi-tasking all the while maintaining composure. This is a full-time position which requires days, nights, weekends and all holidays. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.

Applicants for the Restaurant Manager position will meet the minimum requirements listed below:

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Represent Cattlemen’s Steakhouse’s core values of integrity, vigilance and excellence.
  • 2-3 years Fine Dining / Casual Dining experience in high volume restaurant.
  • Food Handlers Card.
  • Commitment to Steps of Service.
  • AAA Star Rating Criteria.
  • TABC Card.
  • Live our “Show Ready” philosophy.
  • Good Communication Skills.
  • Utilize Management Systems and Tools.
  • Great Motivator.
  • Great Leader.
  • Business Analysis.
  • Passion for Hospitality, Food and Beverage.
  • College Degree, High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
  • CPR Certified.
  • Occasional pushing, pulling, lifting or carrying up to 50 lbs. Independently and safely
  • Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps
  • Constant computer and/or POS usage.
  • Frequent, continual, intermittent flexing or rotation of the wrist(s) and spine
  • Constant reaching, turning and performing precision work
  • Constant talking, expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word
