Hardware Hawaii, a retail hardware and lumber business, is seeking a customer oriented and dependable individual for a full-time position as a Cashier/Customer Service Associate. The individual we seek is outgoing and enjoys working with customers in providing the best possible customer service.

Position Summary:

Greets customers and assists them as required to maintain the highest level of customer service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operates cash register, handles cash and charge transactions, collects money and makes change.

• Assists customers with store services such as: special orders, key cutting, and handling customer returns.

• Assists with telephone duties.

• Adheres to all company policies and procedures.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Friendly and outgoing with the ability to maintain a positive working relationships with all associates.

• Ability to perform duties in a prompt and professional manner.

• Experience in operating a cash register and cash handling helpful.

• Strong customer service and communication skills helpful

• Ability to work within a flexible work schedule.

• Ability to maintain regular and predictable attendance.

• Computer skills helpful.
