The Account Executive position at Paolucci Salling & Martin (PSM) Communication Arts provides a proactive and reliable partner to Account Team Managers & VPs.   The Account Executive is responsible for providing direction and oversight for all day-to-day integrated marketing activities and account support, execution of client projects and campaigns, and coordination of media planning efforts including, but not limited to, digital, social, programmatic, various video formats, and outdoor/broadcast mediums as well as involvement in social media copywriting, posting, tracking and planning.  The position has the requirement to manage independent client responsibilities of his or her own. The Account Executive must have strong communication and organizational skills, the ability to multitask and prioritize client projects, and follow all agency protocols.  

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

Project & Campaign Leadership

  • Partner with Account Managers and VP’s in all day-to-day activities and tasks

  • Lead projects and integrated campaigns from kickoff through final delivery

  • Provide strong creative direction and actionable feedback across writing, design, and production

  • Participate in and help facilitate creative brainstorming and concept sessions

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure alignment on messaging and delivery timelines

Client Management

  • Serve as a primary point of contact, managing day-to-day communication with clients

  • Lead agendas and prepare for ongoing meetings; meaningfully contribute to all client interactions

  • Ensure client satisfaction through clear, proactive communication and problem-solving

  • Seamlessly guide projects through the agency while being a trusted resource for client teams

Media & Content

  • Manage client social media accounts, including planning, posting, engagement, and reporting

  • Coordinate and work closely around distribution of all mass email marketing programs 

  • Write and edit copy that is platform-appropriate and consistent with brand voice

  • Align closely with performance marketing team on client paid initiatives 

  • Analyze performance data and optimize strategies based on insights and trends

  • Develop digital marketing reports including insights and secondary planning based on key analytics and data points 

Strategy & Insights

  • Contribute to strategic planning by identifying challenges and marketing opportunities

  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of client business goals and industry landscape

  • Use data to guide campaign improvements and present actionable recommendations

 

SKILLS and EXPERIENCE 

  • 3-5 years of marketing, advertising or other related experience preferred

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Efficient organizational skills

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize projects

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Motivated self-starter and quick learner

  • Critical thinking skills

  • Understanding of paid media, SEO, or email marketing metrics

  • Proficient in Microsoft & Google Suite

  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, HubSpot, Salesforce is a plus

 

EDUCATION 

Bachelor's degree, marketing or communications preferred
