Job Overview:
We’re seeking an experienced and compassionate Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse for a contract opportunity in Grass Valley. You'll play a vital role in supporting mothers through labor, delivery, and postpartum care in a collaborative and patient-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor mothers and newborns during labor and delivery

• Perform triage assessments upon patient arrival

• Create and implement individualized care plans

• Educate patients on discharge instructions and newborn care

• Accurately document medical information

• Support emotional and behavioral health related to childbirth

• Work closely with physicians and care teams

Qualifications:

• Active RN license (California)

• Recent experience in labor & delivery

• Strong skills in triage, discharge planning, and medical documentation

• Knowledge of medical terminology and ICD-10 coding
