What You’ll Do:
Salesforce System Administration
- Serve as the primary system administrator for all Salesforce operations
- Manage users, roles, permissions, profiles, workflows, and data integrity
- Design and maintain reports, dashboards, and process automations (Flows, Process Builder, validation rules)
- Troubleshoot technical issues and respond to user needs
- Test, document, and implement system changes and enhancements
- Coordinate with development consultants on system updates and feature rollouts
- Ensure smooth upgrades and prepare system for future scalability
Data Management & Quality Control
- Oversee daily/weekly data uploads and integrations
- Maintain high-quality, clean datasets across systems
- Conduct audits, manage duplicate record clean-up, and monitor for discrepancies
- Utilize Excel and reporting tools for data analysis and KPI tracking
Team Leadership & Collaboration
- Manage and develop a small team of Salesforce and data support specialists
- Provide training and support across departments to maximize CRM adoption
- Communicate updates and system changes clearly to internal stakeholders
- Drive cross-departmental CRM strategy and documentation
What You Bring:
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 7+ years’ experience working with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms
- 3+ years' experience leading or managing a small technical or support team
- Salesforce Administrator Certification (or willingness to obtain within 90 days)
- Experience with project management and business process improvement
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Deep knowledge of Salesforce platform capabilities and best practices
- Proficient with Excel, data imports/exports, APIs, and integrations
- Excellent communication and training skills
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and ability to juggle priorities
- Ability to work independently, proactively, and collaboratively across departments
- Previous experience in a mission-driven or nonprofit-serving environment is a plus
Work Environment:
- Hybrid work model; in-office or remote options may be available
- Must be comfortable working on a computer for extended periods
- Regular use of office equipment (phone, laptop, etc.)
