Location: Long Beach, Ca
Pay: $20 - $25 per hour
Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM & 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM shifts available

About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide exceptional daily nursing care and support to our residents. You will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for those in your care, working closely with nursing staff to follow care plans and ensure the comfort and safety of each resident.

Responsibilities

• Identify residents using wristbands or photo cards before administering care or meals

• Assist residents with daily personal care, mobility, and hygiene needs

• Monitor and record vital signs, food and fluid intake, and other important health information

• Report changes in resident condition and any incidents to nursing supervisors promptly

• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents

• Assist with resident transfers, transportation, and preparing residents for medical tests

• Adhere to confidentiality and HIPAA regulations regarding resident information

• Participate in nursing reports and cooperate with team members to improve care services

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in accordance with state laws

• Minimum education: 10th grade

• CPR certification preferred

• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team environment

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Compassionate, patient, and attentive to resident needs
