Automotive Service Technician

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Automotive Service Technician to join our team. In this role, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of vehicles. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid checks.

• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic tools and test drives.

• Complete necessary repairs including engines, transmissions, steering, suspension, and electrical systems.

• Inspect and test vehicles to ensure all repairs meet safety and quality standards.

• Communicate findings and recommended repairs to service advisors and customers.

• Maintain accurate records of all services and repairs performed.

• Follow all company safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

• Stay current with new automotive technology and repair techniques.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; automotive technical training or certification preferred (Chrsyler certifications a plus).

• Proven experience as an automotive technician or mechanic.

• Strong knowledge of automotive systems and diagnostic tools.

• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and schematics.

• Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
