Position Title: Assistant Kitchen Manager
Reports To: General Manager
Location: Roxborough Park
Employment Type: Full-Time

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Kitchen Manager to oversee the daily operations of our kitchen. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing kitchen staff, ensuring food quality and safety, maintaining inventory, and creating a positive and productive working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate all kitchen staff and food preparation activities

• Maintain high standards of food quality, taste, and presentation

• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards

• Order supplies, manage inventory, and minimize food waste

• Create staff schedules and monitor labor costs

• Train, mentor, and evaluate kitchen staff

• Collaborate with front-of-house management to ensure smooth service

• Maintain kitchen equipment and schedule maintenance as needed

• Monitor food and labor costs to meet budget goals

• Develop and implement kitchen policies and procedures

Qualifications:

• Strong leadership and organizational skills

• Excellent knowledge of kitchen operations, food safety, and sanitation regulations

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Must have food manager certificate

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods

• Comfortable working in a hot, fast-paced kitchen environment
