Job Summary:                                   Electronic Assembler/Production 

Express Employment Professionals is hiring on behalf of a HVAC parts/circuit board manufacturing company in the Ft Myers area.  This is a great company with room for growth! 

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Electronic Assembler to join our production team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in soldering and working with printed circuit boards (PCBs). This position plays a key role in the assembly and testing of electronic components used in HVAC control systems and related parts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble electronic components, subassemblies, and full circuit boards according to blueprints, work instructions, and schematics.
• Perform hand soldering of through-hole and surface mount components with precision.
• Inspect and test completed assemblies for quality, functionality, and compliance with industry standards.
• Read and interpret electrical diagrams, BOMs, and assembly drawings.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to ESD and safety standards.
• Perform rework or repair defective units when necessary.
• Collaborate with the production and engineering teams to identify process improvements.
• Use hand tools, soldering irons, multimeters, and other test equipment.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required, technical training or certification in electronics a plus.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in electronic assembly.
• Proficient with both through-hole and surface mount soldering techniques.
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
• Ability to work from schematics and technical documents.
• IPC Certification (e.g., J-STD-001) is a plus but not required.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs and sit or stand for extended periods.

Position Type:   Full Time Temp to Perm

Benefits: Full benefit package 

Pay:     $18.00

Schedule:   8am-4:30pm  Mon-Fri
