Job Details

Busy outpatient surgery office seeking a detail-oriented, reliable, and responsible student worker. We are looking for a student worker to assist at the front desk receptionist/patient care coordinator position along with assisting the operating room staff. We are looking for a creative, energetic, motivated individual with excellent communication skills. Candidate must be organized and able to multitask. We are an amazing team that works hard to support each other and are seeking a phenomenal addition who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do.

Job duties include but are not limited to:

· Provides excellent customer service, including telephone and personal contact with patients, physicians, nurses, administrators, colleagues, and staff at outside offices.

· Scheduling patient appointments and maintaining schedules.

· Must have knowledge of medical insurances including PPOs, Medicare, etc.

· Collect insurance information for patient appointments.

· Excellent communication skills with the ability to assist and understand patient needs.

· Must be able to work/communicate both independently and cooperatively in team settings.

· Other duties and tasks, as assigned.
