Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Blockchain Developer to join our innovative team at Global Settlement. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of blockchain technology, a strong background in software architecture, and a proven track record of designing and implementing blockchain solutions. As a Blockchain Developer, you will be responsible for leading the design, development, and deployment of blockchain-based applications and services that will drive our payment platform to new heights.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and architect blockchain solutions to meet business and technical requirements.

• Lead the development and implementation of blockchain-based applications and services.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate blockchain technology into Global Settlement's payment platform.

• Ensure the security, scalability, and performance of blockchain solutions.

• Conduct research and stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in blockchain technology.

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams.

• Develop and maintain documentation for blockchain architectures and implementations.

• Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with blockchain solutions.

• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years focused on blockchain technology.

• Proven experience in designing and implementing blockchain architectures and solutions.

• Strong knowledge of blockchain protocols, consensus algorithms, and smart contracts.

• Experience with blockchain platforms such as Ethereum, Hyperledger, or similar.

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Rust, Solidity, Go, Java, and/ or Python.

• Solid understanding of cryptographic principles and security practices.

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP ) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Finance, Assets, Tokenization or other emerging blockchain software.

• Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements in the financial industry.

• Contributions to open-source blockchain projects.
