OFFICE BASED...THIS IS NOT A REMOTE POSITION and MUST HAVE HEALTHCARE OR DME EXPERIENCE!

This position will be primarily responsible for operations of DME company based in Murfreesboro, . Experience with equipment orders, inventory, customer service and knowledge of DME regulations will be a plus. Training will be provided for a minimum of 90 days.

Duties
- Review and verify medical billing information for accuracy and completeness
- Prepare and submit medical claims to insurance companies
- Follow up on unpaid or denied claims
- Resolve billing discrepancies and issues
- Communicate with patients, insurance companies, and healthcare providers regarding billing inquiries and disputes
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
- Stay up-to-date with changes in medical billing codes and regulations

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as a Medical Biller or in a similar role
- Knowledge of medical terminology, coding, and billing procedures
- Proficient in using medical billing software and electronic health record systems
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Familiarity with insurance guidelines and reimbursement processes
