What You Do

  • Analyzes customer demographics, fashion trends, and market conditions to shape strategic product direction and identify emerging opportunities

  • Develops competitive strategies to optimize assortment, pricing, margin, and promotions while maximizing ROI and complementing adjacent categories

  • Collaborates cross-functionally with design, marketing, studio, e-commerce, finance, and operations to align merchandising strategies and drive category profitability

  • Provides data-driven product development recommendations and supports commercialization through accurate setup, PIM documentation, and launch readiness across all channels

  • Conducts regular market visits and competitive research to identify trends, product gaps, and pricing opportunities

  • Supports promotional planning and e-commerce execution, ensuring compelling and accurate product representation

  • Prepares and presents category performance reports to leadership, highlighting key trends, financials, and growth opportunities

  • Travels domestically and internationally for trade shows, vendor meetings, and inspiration gathering

  • Leads and develops team members through coaching, feedback, and engagement with learning opportunities

  • Upholds and models the company’s Core and Growth Values in all aspects of the role

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Merchandising, Retail, or equivalent work experience required

  • 5–7 years of experience in product management, buying, merchandising, marketing, or a related field—preferably in outdoor furniture or a similar industry

  • Supervisory or management experience preferred

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills with keen attention to detail and follow-through

  • Proven ability to analyze data, solve problems, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Demonstrated agility and ability to pivot quickly in response to changing priorities

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Continuous Improvement principles is a plus

  • Able to work both independently and collaboratively across teams
