PrideStaff is seeking a motivated Lab Technician to add to a production team in Charlotte, NC.
This full-time position involves producing a specialized adhesive product for construction applications.

Location: Charlotte, NC 28217

Pay Rate: $18/hr.

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 am-5:00 pm

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Learn established procedures for production and safe equipment usage
• Mix chemical formulations from raw materials.
• Perform necessary duties to load and unload materials when needed.
• Plan and sequence materials and packaging
• Pack and label finished product for shipment
• Follow established procedures in maintaining production equipment.
• Assist production team when needed
• Working close to production staff to meet production goals, identify improvement
• opportunities and define solutions
• Assist with disassembling, cleaning, and reassembling the equipment.
• Properly drum and label chemical waste maintaining inventory documentation.
• Operate staking machine
• Operate cartridge filling pump when needed
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Responsible for good housekeeping in work area.

Education:

• High School diploma or GED equivalent required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience:

• Good mechanical aptitude
• Basic understanding of chemicals and solvents (specific training will be provided)
• Working knowledge of tools and machines
