Job Details

The Transformer Coil Lead Connection Technician is a skilled position that requires experience with using a torch for soldering and brazing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform lead connections using torch, soldering, and brazing techniques
• Cut, strip, form, and prep copper/aluminum conductors
• Apply insulation materials (sleeving, kraft paper, epoxy)
• Follow winding cards and diagrams
• Operate tools including torches, heat guns, crimpers, and soldering equipment
• Ensure clean, precise, and safe connections

Requirements:

• Experience with torch and brazing (copper/aluminum)
• Able to interpret diagrams
• Physically able to lift, stand, and work with both hands
• Prior experience with transformers or coils is preferred, but not required.

Pay:

Pay rate is based on work experience.
