Job Title: Accounting Support

Location: Portsmouth, NH 03801

Pay range: $30 – 32/hr. on W2 (depending on experience/interview)

Job Type: 1 Month Contract Role

Shift: Monday to Friday 08:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Job Description:

Responsible for assisting accounting associates with maintaining accounts and records in various general and/or cost accounting functions.

Collects and analyzes financial data, assists with invoicing, monthly status reports and closings.

Reviews and verifies transactions and journal entries.

Ensures procedures and internal controls are followed in compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley initiatives.

A degree in related fields of study or equivalent experience
