Job Details

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of our company's accounts receivable processes, ensuring accurate and timely collection of payments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain the company’s accounts receivable ledger.
• Follow up on overdue accounts, sending reminders and making collection calls as needed.
• Reconcile accounts receivable transactions and resolve any discrepancies.
• Prepare and submit aging reports to management.
• Work closely with the sales and customer service teams to ensure proper documentation and resolution of billing issues.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements in handling accounts receivable.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the finance team.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• Proven experience in accounts receivable or a similar finance role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and accounting software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks).
• Knowledge of billing and collection procedures.
