Accountants One is working with a large, privately held distribution company looking for their next Corporate Accounting Manager. This person will report directly to the Senior Manager. Whenever possible, this organization promotes internally and develops its employees. They also offer a hybrid work schedule.

The Corporate Accounting Manager will handle the following:

• Will oversee the new lease agreements, approve new lease amortization schedules, any modifications in the lease accounting systems, monitor existing leases, prepare and review financial statements
• Help develop forecasts and projections related to lease obligations
• Oversee the month-end close process, journal entries, and reconciliation
• P&L reviews and analysis
• Year-end Audits
• Supervise team
• Other special projects- consisting of helping with process improvement and procedures

Requirements:

• Must have a Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
• Must have a CPA
• 5+ years of experience with one year of supervisory role
• An ideal candidate will have a blend of public accounting and industry, or straight from Public accounting
• Lease Accounting software experience is highly desired
• ERP systems experience
• Strong attention to detail
