Job Details

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Working Crew Leader to lead and work alongside a crew of roofing technicians on residential and/or commercial roofing projects. This position requires strong leadership skills, technical roofing expertise, and the ability to ensure that projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to company quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside crew members on all aspects of the roofing job, this is a hands-on leadership role.
• Manage daily jobsite tasks and keep projects on schedule
• Manage daily reports, timecards, materials inventory, and equipment on site.
• Read and interpret blueprints and specs
• Ensure all work meets company and manufacturer quality standards.
• Ensure safety protocols and quality standards are followed
• Train and mentor junior crew members
• Communicate with the project manager and other trades as needed
• Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently

Qualifications

Roofing Systems Knowledge candidates should have direct experience with the installation, detailing, and repair of the following systems:

• TPO, PVC, and EPDM single-ply membranes
• Modified Bitumen and Built-Up Roofing (BUR) systems
• Standing Seam Metal Roofing (experience preferred)
• Roof insulation systems and tapered layouts
• Flashing details, coping caps, and general sheet metal work
• Familiarity with manufacturer specs and warranty compliance standards

Requirements

• 3+ years of commercial roofing experience
• Prior leadership or crew lead experience
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Reliable transportation
• Must be comfortable working at heights and in various weather conditions
• Must possess a State-issued Real ID for access to secure or federal jobsites
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
