Title of Position: Catering Sales Manager 

Compensation: $55k to $60k plus commission/bonus 

Job Description: The Catering Sales Manager is responsible for preparing arrangements with clients for functions that are booked at the hotel. They manage all aspects of the event, including obtaining pertinent information such as party size, menu, and schedule of events, and work directly with the client to ensure that all details are taken care of. Their primary goal is to meet and exceed monthly and annual revenue targets by generating new and repeat business through referrals, telephone solicitation, direct mail, outside sales calls, networking, and other community marketing techniques. Overall, the success of the Catering Sales Manager depends on their ability to work closely with clients to understand their needs and preferences while also demonstrating strong sales skills to generate new business and expand existing relationships. They play a critical role in ensuring that events are executed efficiently and effectively while providing clients with exceptional experiences, which will ultimately drive revenue growth for the hotel.

Qualifications: 

·      The Catering Sales Manager must have high volume restaurant/catering management or sales experience of 3 + years 

·      A passion for mentoring and developing others is a must for the Catering Sales Manager 

·     The Assistant Catering Sales Manager will close sales with potential customers through excellent food presentations

·     The Catering Sales Manager must possess a book of business to promote efficient business practice

·     A requirement for the Assistant Catering Sales Manager is to formulate a strong sales plan each week with the Catering Sales Manager
