Dental Assistant training position. Our office is looking for an individual with a friendly, compassionate personality that is motivated to learn the skills necessary for a new career as a dental assistant. We are looking for the right person to join our team.  We will provide on the job training for professional growth as a dental assistant. Our office is a small, but very busy clinic with one dentist and a well-established dental team. We are excited to welcome a new addition to our team to train and mentor for a successful career in the dental field.

Our ideal candidate will have the following:

• Be at least 18 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Reliable transportation and dependability
• Excellent communication skills with patients as well as fellow teammates
• A desire to contribute to the oral and overall health of our patients
• Great organizational skills and attention to detail
• A desire to learn proper sterilization and infection control techniques, chairside dental assisting, exposure of digital dental x-rays, preparing and disinfecting of treatment areas, and other duties needed to support excellent patient care.
• Computer skills necessary to help schedule and chart patient information.
