Work directly for our Hudson County, NJ client that has designed and fabricated a wide variety of high quality products for the electric utility, construction, electrified transit, and OEM industries.
Summary - Facility Maintenance Technician
Successful candidate is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to include the install, troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and ISO maintenance systems. Applicant should possess general knowledge in the fields of plumbing, grounds keeping, carpentry, painting, drywall repair, janitorial, and electrical skills.
Job Duties (will train):
-Read and interpret electrical drawings and blueprints.
-Maintain and operate heavy lift equipment such as forklifts skid steer, and plow trucks
-Travel on occasion as requested to support other manufacturing sites.
-Various other assignments as instructed.
Requirements (will train):
-Ability to run conduit, work in control panels, circuit breaker panels.
-Experience with NEC, 115/230/460 VAC, controls and equipment.
-Working knowledge of Mechanical, Hydraulic and Pneumatic systems.
-Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
-Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
-Strong leadership skills to motivate and develop a team atmosphere
-Ability to follow directions
-Ability to weld a plus
-Knowledge of National Electrical Code a big plus
-Technical or Trade school certification required; or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
